Polity quizzes

Indian Polity for UPSC, SSC and state exams, chapter by chapter, with study notes and graded practice sets.

What is a polity quiz?

A polity quiz tests your knowledge of how India is governed: the Constitution, its making and the Preamble, fundamental rights, directive principles and duties, the Union and state executives and legislatures, the judiciary, federalism, Panchayati Raj and local bodies, constitutional and statutory bodies, emergency provisions and amendments, elections, and rights-based laws. Indian Polity is a core subject in the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination and appears in SSC, banking, railway and state exams. Each polity quiz here covers one chapter in the order of the standard syllabus. It opens with a starter quiz of 10 questions, then offers practice sets at easy, medium and hard levels, and a short set of study notes covering the articles, bodies and facts you need. Every answer is explained, often with the Article it comes from, so you revise as you play. All quizzes are free, work on a phone and need no sign-up.
