Math Quizzes

Times tables, mental maths and number skills: maths quizzes from quick warm-ups to tricky stumpers, with every answer explained.

What is a math quiz?

A math quiz checks how quickly and accurately you can work with numbers: times tables, fractions, percentages, mental arithmetic and the rules behind them. The Multiplication Quiz starts with core facts such as 7 × 8 and 12 × 12, then moves on to the vocabulary and rules of multiplication and ends with a few mental-maths stumpers. Each question shows the right answer and a short working, so a slip becomes a lesson. For more maths, the School GK topic has class-wise maths quizzes for Classes 1, 4 and 6 to 10, the Kids topic has Fractions in Your Lunchbox for everyday sums, and Quantitative Aptitude has exam-style practice on percentages, ratios, interest, time and work and more. If you study in Hindi, try the Math GK in Hindi quiz. Every quiz is free, plays on a phone and needs no sign-up, so it fits into a short break or the start of a class.
