Guess & Picture Quizzes
Emoji puzzles and clue rounds: guessing quizzes where you work out the answer, with every answer explained.
What is a guessing quiz?
A guessing quiz gives you a clue and asks you to work out the answer, rather than recall a fact. In the Emoji Quiz, films, songs, idioms, books and moments from history are turned into short strings of emoji for you to decode; it starts easy and ends with clues that make keen puzzle fans pause. Guess the Person gives you a few facts about a famous figure, written as if they are speaking, and you pick who it is from four names, from scientists and leaders to writers, artists and a cricketer. Each round shows the answer with a short explanation, so you see how the clue worked. Guessing quizzes are good icebreakers because anyone can join in, even without a head for facts. For more of the same, try Guess the Flag and Guess the Place in Geography, and Guess the Pokemon in Anime & Games. Every quiz is free and needs no sign-up.
