Regional Language GK Quizzes

General knowledge quizzes written in India's languages: Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and more.

What is a regional language GK quiz?

A regional language GK quiz is a general knowledge quiz written in an Indian language other than Hindi or English, so you read every question, option and explanation in your own script. QG Play has GK quizzes in Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Odia, Kannada and Malayalam, with more languages on the way. Each quiz is about the state where the language is spoken: its literature, history, culture, festivals, geography and famous people. The Tamil quiz, for example, opens with the Thirukkural and Pongal and moves on to Chola and Pallava temples and the Keezhadi excavations. The questions start easy and get harder, and every answer comes with a short explanation in the same language. They help with state exams that set papers in the regional language, such as TNPSC, and they are a good way for families to play together at home. For Hindi, see the Hindi topic. Every quiz is free and needs no sign-up.
