About this GK for LKG quiz

These LKG GK questions are made for little learners of about four years old, covering the things they see every day: animals and their sounds, colours, shapes, fruits and vegetables, parts of the body, numbers, clothes and good habits. There are 15 easy questions with simple words and big, clear choices.

Each answer comes with a one-line explanation that a parent or teacher can read aloud, so the child learns something extra, like why a carrot is a vegetable or what a cap is worn on. That turns a quick quiz into a little conversation.

For the best experience, sit with your child, read each question slowly and let them point to an answer. Praise every try, then read the explanation together. Teachers can use these LKG general knowledge questions as a circle-time game, asking the class to answer together with hands up. You can also print the answer key below and use the questions orally on the way to school. The same set works well as gk questions for LKG and UKG class revision, since older kids can read the options on their own.

A fun fact to share: an elephant uses its trunk like a hand, a nose and a straw all at once. It can smell water from far away and even give itself a shower.
