About this Cricket World Cup quiz

This Cricket World Cup quiz is for fans who still replay the big moments in their heads. It starts with the men's ODI World Cup's early years, when Kapil Dev's India beat the West Indies at Lord's, and runs through Dhoni's six at the Wankhede in 2011, the tied final of 2019 and Glenn Maxwell's double hundred in 2023.

It also covers the 2025 Women's World Cup, when India's women won the title for the first time in Navi Mumbai. The questions mix easy warm-ups about famous captains and finals with harder ones on records, venues and the innings no camera filmed. Each answer comes with a short explanation, so you learn the story even when you miss.

Use it for a match-day break, a sports round in a school or office quiz, or a quick test before the next tournament. Play on your own, then share your score and challenge your friends. The full list of questions and answers is printed below the quiz for anyone who wants to read them out.
