About this The Office quiz

The Office quiz on this page is about the American series set in the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin, the paper company Michael Scott is sure he runs better than anyone. The 15 questions cover the people in the office, Dwight's beet farm, the Dundies, Jim's pranks, Kevin's chili and the long road to Jim and Pam's proposal.

It also takes in The Office trivia from outside the bullpen: the British original from Slough, the episode that followed the Super Bowl, and the comedy star who briefly took Michael's chair. The first questions are gentle enough for people who have seen a few episodes, and the later ones are for fans who can quote the cold opens. It suits an office trivia game at work, a quiz night with flatmates or a quick round on your phone.

Every answer comes with a short explanation and the episode it comes from where that helps. Play on your own and share your score, or read the questions aloud from the answer key below and let the whole office compete.
