About this Disney Princess quiz

This Disney princess quiz celebrates the heroines who have filled family screens since 1937, from Snow White and Cinderella to Moana, Merida and Tiana. The 15 questions cover pets and sidekicks, dreams and disguises, castles and curses, plus some behind-the-scenes Disney princess trivia about release years and voice actors.

The early questions are easy enough for younger fans, while the later ones, such as the secret name Aurora was raised under or who voiced Mushu, will challenge grown-ups who grew up with these films. That makes it a good fit for teens, adults and families playing together.

Each answer has a short explanation, so you will pick up a new fact even when you guess wrong. Play it on your own, race a sibling, or read the Disney princess quiz questions aloud at a birthday party and let teams compete. All the answers are in the answer key below the quiz.

Fun fact: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was such a gamble that people called it "Disney's Folly" during production. It went on to become one of the most successful films of its time and launched the whole princess tradition.
